As someone recovering from a devastating life change due to a job site accident and by the WCB (WorkSafe) need to keep the injured down and out. I for one can’t afford to pay more taxes which are designed to do one thing only, that is to give Corporations a free pass on their taxes by making Regular People pay a LOT more taxes on everything we need to live a normal life. I cannot let this happen and for that reason I want everyone to go to www.fightHST.com and register to collect signatures in a legal battle to stop Gordon Campbell from stealing even more money from the injured in BC.

We are lucky enough to have a former Premier of British Columbia spearheading this issue. Some loved him, some hated him, none of that makes a difference in this issue. Bill VanderZalm and his FightHST Team are the ONLY chance BC has to stop the HST HeiST. If you are a registered voter in BC, you too can make a difference in this battle against the EVIL Liberals that have already taken away so much from the injured workers in British Columbia Canada. If you are not yet Registered to Vote in BC, you can still do so and have a say in this devastating issue by CLICKING HERE TO REGISTER.

Once this FightHST campaign is complete, the next step will be to remove the Liberals from their Dictatorship. Enough is Enough, I can’t take it anymore and will not stand by while even more is taken away from me and my family.

Welcome to my site, I hope what you read here will help in your recovery. I was not lucky enough to have this kind of information available when I was injured due to employers carelessness, life will never be the same. This site is based on my thoughts and opinions and may not be viewed as politically correct all the time, I do NOT view the WCB’s as politically correct either.

For decades, Corporations like WCB also using the name WorkSafeBC and ICBC have been intentionally ruining peoples lives, why? To protect the almighty dollar and knock down the little guy? We let them do it to us without saying a word. Why is this site so important? Someday you or a loved one may be face to face with the WCB and their Illegal activities, knowledge is your best defence. I am fed up and am trying to make a difference. I actively run this blog while trying to survive the financial ruin and health decline bestowed upon me by WCB and Nexient Learning Inc.

On April 28 2009 I held a rally at the WCB (WorkSafeBC) office in Prince George BC.

The turn out for picketers was poor due to the cold but I was able to get 168 signatures on my petition.
There was hundreds of people that drove by honking their horns and giving thumbs up. An old couple in their seventies pulled up and thanked me for taking action. They are currently looking after their son that was hurt at work and is now so upset he is contemplating suicide.
I plan to hold the rally again next year! Instead of only having a month to get ready I have all year. The next rally should be bigger and better.
For more information I can be contacted by posting comments on this post.

Today on Thinkblog I read an article that had me thinking that the WCB is going to be in their glory if it actually happens. Since privacy is always ignored by the WCB, they will soon have the ability to spy on every injured worker without any real difficulty and for a whole lot less money. This device that the Dutch are developing is truly out of Spy Movies and will intrude on anyones privacy any time someone feels like it.

Can you imagine the WCB or WorkSafe ignoring this new found ability to spy? I can’t. Here is an excerpt from the article:

The Dutch are currently working on a mini spy plane that they say will be designed for simple uses like checking for traffic and keeping an eye on your children. Wow, what great news, a company is developing something that could never be used by the Military or any other organization with evil intentions to spy on citizens because . . . well . . . because they said it is being designed for traffic so that the traffic planes will not be intrusive.” This plane will look and act like a bird so we will not notice it spying on us.

If they are successful, we will all need to beware of the sky and birds as well as those vans parked out front of our homes from now on. What a nice thought for citizens of a country where our rights are ignored once we become injured workers. Welcome to an even more intrusive future than we already live in now.

Here is the thing, I have pain 24 hours a day and sleeping is only possible when I pass out from exhaustion. I can’t walk safely anymore because my right leg gives out once in a while without warning. I use a Cane around the house but am embarrassed to go out in public with it. There are times when I lay awake at night in pain and just think that ending it all could be an option.

Don’t get me wrong, these are just thoughts that go through my head because I have so much awake time to think about these things. The difference between me and some other unfortunate people is that I could or would not ever go through with it. I have a grand daughter that I want to watch grow up and now a second grand child is on the way.

I do consider myself lucky that I have a wonderful wife that even though our lives have become very difficult she stands by me. I have 2 great kids, one is married and the youngest still lives at home and is a great help. I do wonder how my mind would work if I didn’t have the family around to give me something to exist for.

I know there are a lot of injured workers that have had their spouse leave and those that don’t have anyone there to give them support. This must be an unbearable situation for them and I would have to wonder if I could stop myself from doing something stupid if I had nothing to keep me going.

Have these thoughts ever crossed your mind because of the situation you are in with WCB or WorkSafeBC?

I was thinking about the fact that this is a Digest, so I thought I would spend some time and create a new look, I gave it a newspaper feel.  This is all part of the future of ‘monetizing’ my site.  For those that are following along, monetizing a site simply means that the website can earn an income from visitors if you can find the right things to offer.

As you may have noticed, we now offer books on health and injury.  This is not a huge money maker, I actually can only make up to 4% on each sale which isn’t added to the price of the books, it is already built in.  The idea behind monetizing is that you combine a whole lot of strategies to generate an income.  In the future we will look at selling advertising space on the site.  We have climbed to an amazing position 12 in Google Search results for the term WCB.  This is out of over 1.4 million listings on the internet.

That is an important statistic to understand if you want to ever make money from a website.  It isn’t a matter of just making a site and then making money.  Patience is very important.  WCBDigest has been a forum for many years before it was hacked by Porn Hackers and now it has been a blog for quite some time.  The fact that my .com domain name now has defined age and has been active for many years is what will help me move this site to the next level.

A good friend of mine makes over $24,000 a month from income generated by his blog and I will endeavor to bring this site up to somewhat of an income by helping injured workers deal with their situations based on my experiences as well as others that wish to share their stories.  Will this site ever make that much money?  No, My friends site is quite unique and he has a huge fan base, the best I can hope for is to make a little bit of money to help me keep this site running because it is such a specialized topic site.  If this was a more general site with all types of visitors, it could be different.  The key is that you should never start a site simply to make money, you start a site because you are passionate about something and then if luck and patience is on your side, you can help supplement your income with something that you truly believe in.
