Welcome to my site, I hope what you read here will help in your recovery. I was not lucky enough to have this kind of information available when I was injured due to employers carelessness, life will never be the same. This site is based on my thoughts and opinions and may not be viewed as politically correct all the time, I do NOT view the WCB’s as politically correct either.

For decades, Corporations like WCB also using the name WorkSafeBC and ICBC have been intentionally ruining peoples lives, why? To protect the almighty dollar and knock down the little guy? We let them do it to us without saying a word. Why is this site so important? Someday you or a loved one may be face to face with the WCB and their Illegal activities, knowledge is your best defence. I am fed up and am trying to make a difference. I actively run this blog while trying to survive the financial ruin and health decline bestowed upon me by WCB and Nexient Learning Inc.

On April 28 2009 I held a rally at the WCB (WorkSafeBC) office in Prince George BC.

The turn out for picketers was poor due to the cold but I was able to get 168 signatures on my petition.
There was hundreds of people that drove by honking their horns and giving thumbs up. An old couple in their seventies pulled up and thanked me for taking action. They are currently looking after their son that was hurt at work and is now so upset he is contemplating suicide.
I plan to hold the rally again next year! Instead of only having a month to get ready I have all year. The next rally should be bigger and better.
For more information I can be contacted by posting comments on this post.

Everyone knows “You should have life insurance”.  Well I’m here to tell you that if you have Industrial Alliance Life Insurance and you are a Senior Citizen, you may not be as safe as you think.

A slickster name Mike H____k from Surrey BC, sold a life insurance policy to an 80 old lady over 4 years ago.  He worked with a Multi Level Marketing Corporation with the initials CDM_.  She trusted this overly religious man because he spent all of his time worming his way into her trust.  He made a huge chunk of money by dividing the insurance into two policies for both children.  He convinced this Lady to put extra money in every year because he said it would pay for itself in a few years, what he didn’t tell her was that it was draining her investment accounts.

The policy cost more than this lady makes per year, the payments drained her life savings, she could not afford to keep paying them and Industrial Alliance canceled them on her.

The lady filed a complaint with the Insurance Commission which asked Mr. H____k if he sold her the right policy, he said “yes, I just did what she asked me to do” they said, “ok, we believe you and not this 84 year old woman”.  A number of other agents have looked at this policy and have been completely disgusted at what this man did to this Senior.

The sad part is that this lady tried to change representatives to help her figure out her policy and Industrial Alliance told the new agent he would have to pay $1200 in order to be the representative on the policy.  There is something very shady in this behavior.  This is looking like a Corporation trying to pocket all the money and push the Senior out of her policy.  Is that legal?

Industrial Alliance seems to be pulling some shady deals, the Insurance council doesn’t seem to care at all, they just seem to exist to cover Agent’s Butts.

This Senior Lady is now out over $100,000 in cash and her policies worth $70,000 and $90,000 are terminated because the company would not reply to her inquiry regarding minimum payments or combining the policies to make it affordable.

When I injured my neck 5 years ago, I knew I was in for the long haul.  I would be in constant pain down various parts of my right side from shoulder to arm, wrist, lower back, hip and down into my right leg.  The problem with the leg thing was that I would get sharp shots of pain in my leg and depending on where I was, I could all of a sudden lose my balance and fall.

This has occured many times in the last 5 years and I guess the many times I sprained it during falls, it has become somewhat weaker.  A couple of weeks ago, it happened again and I was on the stairs at the time where I fell and tore something behind my knee.  Now after many tests, it looks like I might have to go in for surgery to repair the damage.  This will put me completely out of action for a few months and of course, that is all part of that big $70 a month pension I was so graciously awarded by WorkSafeBC.

Does anyone else have the residual affects of their injury that may never get better?  I just want everyone who is newly injured to make sure that they make everyone aware of things like what happened to me.  I never really made a big deal out of the fact that the shooting pains in my leg would cause me to fall.  It never occured to me that it was important.  Guess what? Every detail is important.

With new headway being made in stem cell research, they can now grow individual organs and they say that people can expect to live to 150 years old or beyond. When your organs wear out, they can simply be replaced. What does this mean to regular people or what about injured workers? Nothing! My thought is that this will be controlled by the rich for the rich, I’m not simply stating this to rant, there are other reasons which I will get to shortly.

If only the Rich and Powerful can afford to benefit from this, what will this do for our civilization? It will destroy it. The people that oppress the masses and get rich from us regular people, at the expense of our well being, will live longer to pillage further.

These are the same people that are causing pollution and global warming and are destroying our planet so they can keep getting richer, with these people living longer, our children will not even have the chance to fix what has been destroyed so far. These are the people that create global policy, that decide to stop the injured workers from getting much needed aid.

Another reason to wonder about this technology being made available to us regular folk is simply that we could not afford to live that long. Can you say that you can afford to get that old? A lot of people will rely on Government old age security when they retire, think about the cost of that to our Governments, as it stands, I’m not sure there will be a pension plan when middle aged people are ready to retire.

In our society, Governments take care of Governments and the wealthy supporters of those Governments. When is the last time your Government did something significant to make your life easier?

When is the last time your Government did something to make life easier for the Wealthy? I can recall some tax breaks for the rich fairly recently, but nothing significant for the poor or the injured that can’t afford the taxes they have to pay. So why do we think that this new technology won’t simply be regulated out of our reach?
